Working from home is the new normal at this point. While it may be interesting at first, the sad reality is that it is going to be our reality for a little longer.
However, we can’t expect our lives to slow down just because we’re staying home.
So, how do you make sure to look presentable for all your online meetings? The easiest way is just a tinge of makeup. Don’t do it for the sake of doing it, instead allow yourself to feel more confident talking over the video calls.
Here will be my tricks to looking good all day. It’s short and sweet, with a handful of products and about 10 minutes.
Please, please do not skip your morning routine. Give your skin the love it needs!
Cleanse your skin, pat it with toner, slather on that thick moisturizer, and apply your sunscreen last. Give it a good massage.
Having a slight foundation coverage on your skin is good enough. Even out your skin tone and look less washed-out with a foundation a little darker than your skin tone.
I personally use the Clinique Acne Solutions Liquid Makeup foundation. It is a foundation for oily skin that is acne-prone, which is my skin type.
This foundation contains salicylic acid which helps dissolve oil and dead skin cells that can clog your pores. It gives my face smooth and oil-free coverage. It’s amazing, really.
And, it is one of the few affordable foundations in Sephora!
Concealer, a true lifesaver!
Brighten up your under eyes with a little concealer. Choose something either the same shade as your foundation or slightly lighter to perk up your skin.
I use the GIVERNY Milchak Cover Concealer. It glides and blends on my skin easily.
In addition, it contains natural plant extracts such as aloe vera, broccoli, and green tea which helps to moisturize my skin and prevents inflammation.
Using either a brow powder or pencil, fill in the sparse areas of your brows. Choose a shade that matches your brow’s color and tone. Your eyebrows define your face and emphasize your eyes.

My preferred color will be 04 Gray-Brown as it suits my skin and brow tone the best.
Lastly, it would be eyeliner.
Drawing eyeliner is like one of the hardest things to do but I love doing it. I feel very satisfied when I wing both my eyes.
